《他動詞》「…が欲しい、…を望む；…したいと思う；…を捜している」
I want to surprise him.
彼をあっと言わせてやりたい。
※ 控えめな表現→ I would like to surprise him.
I want to see you again.
また会いたい。
※ 目上の人には→ I hope to see you again.

何が欲しいのか；何の用があるのか。
※ やや不躾な表現
