分詞構文は書き言葉に用いられ、文章を短く簡潔にする役割がある。
完了形の分詞構文は一つの事が他の事よりあとに起こった場合、最初に起こったほうを分詞構文にする。
Having come home, she took a bath.
家に帰り彼女は入浴した。

言い換え可 After come home, she took a bath.
Having finished his work, Ren went home.
仕事を終えレンは家に帰った。
※ Because Ren had finished his work, Ren went home.
言い換え可 After finished his work, Ren went home.

その映画を見ていたのでもう結末を知っていた。
